Bandit is a sweetheart. He is content to just lounge around and climb up next to you if you are sitting down. He likes to play in his play tunnel from time to time and enjoys looking out the window. He seems to do well with puppies and is curious about them. Bandit has been in a home for the last year but one of his people was diagnosed with severe allergies that medication did not help. Bandit and his sister Harley would love to stay togther. Individually their adoption fees are 95.00 but together their adoption fee would be $142.50.

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested (and treated, if necessary) for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Wed, Fri & Sat from 10-2pm and Thursdays from 3-7pm (other times available by appointment). CARA’s adoption process and online application can be found at http://tinyurl.com/62hhpfm. Please call 919-774-9433, email adoptions@cara-nc.org, or visit www.cara-nc.org for information about this or other pets available for adoption.

Thanks for choosing to adopt!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
