Good Day, Ladies & Gentlemen.

May I introduce myself: I am Princess Laney of CARA Heaven.

Let me update you on a recent discovery:

According to Webster's Dictionary CUTE is defined as such:

• Fur: Soft, but not to soft
  
• Breed: Chihuahua/Poodle
  
• Name: Laney
  

I am thee beautiful combination of a totally cute lovebug, a faithful companion, a affectionate lap-dog...
....with the heart of a lion.

I absolutely adore children and will allow you to attend to me for hours at the time.
I will faithfully awaite your return and then shower you with my love.
I will happily play with you and any younguns you may put in may care; and keep them company.
I will adore you!

I am a ferocious defender of the weak and those I love and protect them with my life; for we Chihuahuas are Great Dane Ultras (A gigantic dog in a tiny package!). (They try to tell me otherwise, but I know better! I know I am ten feet tall and rule the World!)

I was born and bred as a fearless creature with a lot of self-confidence! I will probably do better as the only four-legged Lady of the House.

I am up-to-date on my shots, on Heartworm preventative and spayed.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
