Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

My name is Nala. I am listed as an Aussie but I really don't know what I am. Probably an assortment of several really cool breeds!! I am very intelligent and LOVE to learn! I am also the biggest sweetheart who loves all people! My only drawback is that I seem a little unsure about other dogs at the moment. The rescue will continue testing me so that might change. I hope to meet you soon! I have heartworms, but that just means I will have to be fostered first while my treatment is completed. Then you can make it official! Perfect way to also see if I am a good fit for your lifestyle!! Can't wait to meet you!!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
