What a doll! This little boy was slated to be euthanized the day he was seen at animal control. The officers were kind enough to hold him an extra 5 days until we could take him in. Dallas will be available for adoption after 4/5 (we hold at least 10 days to deem our critters healthy). He has a stable temperament and isn't extraoridinarily hyper. He's very content to lay on his blankie and play with a toy or chew a treat. He is very gentle taking things from your hands and shows no signs of food aggression or possesion. He has an adorable way of cocking his head and if you blow on his face he'll cover his eyes with his paws (he'd be easy to teach the command "hide" to). Dallas is about 5-6 months old. He has been given his first vaccines, bordatella, dewormed, deflead, and started on heartworm prevention. He will be neutered prior to adoption. If you would like to adopt Dallas, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
