Hello, my name is Bailey and all I want to do is get lots of love and attention.  I am a big cuddle bug and can't wait to meet you!  I love to play with toys and chase balls. I am also very vocal until I get your attention, and then once I get it, Im content.I am the cutest grey kitten around. Funny story how I acquired my name. One of the care givers went with the manager when they got me from Cumberland County Animal Shelter. I saw the lady, whom I would learn was one of my care givers, and instantly sought her attention. When she told the manager how I was climbing the door to my kennel, they knew then they had to take me. I instantly bonded with the lady that would become one of my caregivers, so she asked the manager if she could name me. One of my care givers is a HUGE LA Kings hockey fan, and their mascot's name is Bailey, and because I instantly clicked with her, that is what she chose my name to be.My birthdate is 2/14/16. Our adoption fees are: 

*  Altered puppies dogs $ 155 

*  Altered kittens  & cats $ 95

* Puppies under 4 months who have not  been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption - $115 plus S/N    Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption 

* Kittens  under 4 months who have not  been spayed or neutered or who have a medical reason why they cannot be altered before adoption -  $70 plus S/N Deposit: $ 100 if not altered prior to adoption 

Our policy is that all adopted    animals    must be spayed or neutered    before leaving the premises. If at    any       time    an    animal    under the age of    4 months leaves our rescue group unaltered, the adopters must sign and    agree to our spay/neuter contract. This contract states each adopter    agrees to have the    animal    being adopted spayed/neutered by a    veterinarian of their choice by the age of 6 months. As part of this    contract an additional $ 100 deposit fee will be required. This    deposit fee will be refunded upon verification of the spay/neuter    contract. Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
