Meet our awesome black cat, Toe. Toe's birthday is April 9, 2013. Toe has been with CARA for awhile now and has made a lot of progress with us. At first, Toe was a little weary about humans but now after some time and a lot of interaction with humans, Toe has turned a new leaf. Now he asks for human contact and human love. If you sit on the floor with him, he'll come up to you and bump your hand with his head. Something that he likes to do is give you little bites. If you show him some unconditional love, he reciprocate with his love back to you. Please come meet Toe and fall in love him.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
