Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Mr Gibson's birthday is September 26, 2012 and weighs around 35 pounds. He is about 2ft 1in from his head to the floor, and he is about 1ft and 9in from his shoulders to the floor. SPEEDO is my middle name. I was born to run. I hope you are outdoorsy and a need hiking, running, swimming buddy. My favorite pastime here at CARA is playing tag with Dixie (see video). I am a fast learner and excellent student. I already know sit, down, and my name. Presently, I am a work in progress waiting at doors for you to exit first and settling down on a cozy dog bed when told "Go to Place." I think a basketball would be great fun. Those wimpy rubber ones only last five minutes. Come to CARA and see what I can do.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
