I don't know what my brother Thomas told you, but I am the cutest one around. And I can play longer then him too. I can proof it to you, if you want me too! I can play non-stop forever and will wear even the fittest child out. And I am hoping that you have some canine friends for me too. I kind of like rough-housing with my brother. It's a lot of fun!

I haven't met cats yet, but from the distance they look like moving toys. But one of the Aunts and Uncles here warned me that they get really upset when you try to play with their tails. I guess I can learn to like them anyway, if you want me to. I am working on those boring manners and how to keep my home clean. I guess I am trying really hard to be a good boy.

If you are up for some puppy-style fun, I am heartworm negative, started on my shots and preventatives, learning to be house-broke and will fall under CARA's Spay/Neuter Contract.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
