Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Hi my name is Mango. I am a sweet 17 year old and I just want companionship. I am a beautiful girl that is orange and is still looking for my forever home. I love to be brushed. Yep that's right you bring the brush out and I will be there ready to purr. I prefer to eat soft food only, and I prefer to lay in your lap rather than play. So who is ready for a lap kitty?? I came into the shelter after my owner passed away. I came in with my sister Cleo and we both have had a CARA Angel cover our fees so we are free to a great home to live the rest of our years out being loved and adored. Please consider adopting me so I can retire in a loving home.

If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
