One day while I was roaming the neighborhood, I met this Lady in front of her house. She thought I was one of the most lovable dogs she had ever met. She looked at my puppy collar and realized that I had out-grown it a long time ago. It actually was so tight she could hardly get scissors underneath it to cut it off. She tried really hard, but nobody claimed me as their own. Sadly, in her neighborhood, it seems to happen a lot that families move and leave us dogs and cats behind.

I now live in a house with four children between 4 -13, seven other dogs and five cats. I love them all like I couldn't imagine life without them. I have always been perfectly clean in her house and would stay here forever, if it wouldn't be for all the other homeless animals out there that need her help.

I still need to learn how to better walk on a leash. I don't like collars that much, but that last one was so painful. I promise I learn fast, since I am so smart. I sit so well (just not still for long) and I live to please you.

I am crate-trained (just don't like it, since I rather sleep with you), heartworm negative, started on shots and preventatives and scheduled to be spayed.

If you have room for an energetic, fun-loving girl like me, fill out an application. The fine folks from CARA will be more than happy to get you in touch with my Foster Mom.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
