to fill out an application. Hi, Im Suki! Im a 2-year-old, 95-pound bundle of joy, a unique Bloodhound/Pyrenees mix with a heart as big as my paws. I'm an exuberant goofball who loves to sunbathe, get belly rubs, splash in ponds, play tug, and cuddle with my favorite humans. I have a passion for running around, watching the rain, and chasing those pesky squirrels. Everyone who meets me falls in love instantly! , , Im well-behaved, being crate, house, and leash trained. I know all my basic commands plus some fun tricks like catch, paw, hug, spin, and touch. I even graduated from basic agility last year! Despite my large size, I have a playful spirit and a knack for sneakily snatching snacks off the table when youre not looking. , , However, I do have a few special needs. I am leash-reactive and do best when not walked around other dogs or in a busy neighborhood. Ive recently developed dog aggression, so I need to be the only pet in a home without young children. My ideal forever home has plenty of space for me to run and play without the stress of other dogs around. , , After two wonderful years with my family, its clear I need a different environment to live my happiest life.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
