to fill out an application. My name is Shirley. I am a sweet as pie little lady who weighs 8lbs. I am estimated to be 3 years old. I most likely a Havanese. I was rescued by a very nice woman who took me from a breeder that no longer had use for me. She wants me to find the most amazing home, so here I am! I am happiest when on your lap. I do well with dogs and cats. Due to the environment I originally came from I do need someone to work on some basics with me such as being okay being alone. I do walk good on a leash but you can tell that I have not been walked in my previous environments so this is all brand new to me! My last thoughts are that you should definitely try and set up a meeting with me! I am a great girl looking for a comfy lap to sit on, and someone patient/understanding of the environment I was rescued from. xoxo Shirley T.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
