Meet  Tita  Margarita, affectionately known as  Tita !

Tita 's journey took her from being a stray to finding a loving haven in an active foster home. With three doggy siblings, two feline friends, and family of four, she's truly discovered what it means to belong. ❤️

This remarkable pup is more than just a pretty face – she's a quick learner!  Tita  is housebroken, crate trained, and responds beautifully to basic hand and voice commands. Whether you're going for a leisurely stroll or an adventurous hike, she's your perfect companion on the leash.

Don't let her Rottweiler-like appearance fool you –  Tita  has a big head full of love and a petite body to match. As she embraces her indoor life, she's taken a liking to lounging on her cozy bed and snuggling up with her favorite humans. Belly scratches are her absolute favorite, and she's not too interested in fetch – she's all about those heartwarming cuddles. ️

Tita  has truly excelled in mastering her house manners, showcasing her intelligence and adaptability. She's highly motivated by positive reinforcement and has a keen mind that's eager to learn.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
