Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

My name is Skittles. I was surrendered to the rescue recently, after my dad was placed in a nursing home. He sadly could not take care of me anymore. I am a senior girl at 12 years old. I am super full of live still, I love to walk and LOVE to snuggle up to you!! I am dog,cat friendly. I am a tiny little dog that really just wants to find someone who can handle any veterinary care, since I am a senior. I have dry eyes, and sensitive skin. Please only apply if you have the means to keep up with my veterinary care. I really deserves the best of the best! xoxo Skittles

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
