to fill out an application. My name is Kodak. I am a sweet almost 2 year old Aussie Doodle. This means I am a doodle mixed with Australian shepherd. I do have the instinctual herding tendencies, that just comes with my breed and it is best to know that before aquiring a breed like me. I have been in several homes now, one surrendered me due to having too much going on in life and not being able to take care of me. In my second home, I was nipping over high value things such as toys, treats, or even once a maker. The good news is, I saw a trainer today and he said I was a really great pup! I just need STRUCTURE!!!! I need someone who will work with me, because inherently I am a great dog. If I start off on the right foot, with the right human/s I am going to do amazing!! I am the sweetest munchkin. Sadly I just was not in the right homes. I am looking for forever, with someone who values my life and will at least seek professional assessment to determine what the root cause of my behavior is. Us dogs communicate in very specific ways. If you learn to read out behavior and see things from our point of view you will have a healthier and happier life with us!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
