I found myself at CARA because my owner is disabled and not able to provide me with any physical activity or keep up with my routine vet care. I was adopted from a local rescue, but they refused to take me back when my mom needed help simply because I do not like being left alone and have some anxiety :((( I am a REALLY good boy I promise! Sure I do not like being left alone but who does?? I am asking for an owner with a big fenced yard and someone who is home OFTEN! I do not like being left alone! I have torn up my dog bed and moving boxes in the past because I am so bored when I am alone. I was also living in a super small apartment with no activity so can you blame me??? I need to learn some leash manners! I get so excited when I see people and other dogs that I bark and pull so hard!!! My previous owner though I did not like other dogs but guess what? I was tested at CARA and I loved the dog I met!!! I was so happy to finally have a buddy to frolick with! I am a special boy but I need a special home and a very proactive owner!! I would prefer to be in a home with no cats and no small children, but older kids are totally fine!!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
