Hello! My name is Toby! I am a short little potato, looking for an amazing home!!! I would do best as the only dog in the house, but cats are okay I guess. I am looking for a laid back home, with an owner who has experience with dogs. I am housebroken and despite my little stature I love going on walks. I am a sweet angel baby that deserves an AMAZING HOME. I have already been in two different homes, due to personal reasons with the humans so I really need a FOREVER HOME!! Someone who will not give up on me, not matter what. I truly need that stability, because right now my world is upside down. I have some skin allergies, so I NEED to be kept on my daily medication of Apoquel. I need an owner who can afford my medication. It is around 40-60 dollars a month. Not bad, considering it keeps my allergies stable. I really am the sweetest little nugget, please consider meeting me if you appreciate an older fella looking for a couch/bed to spend my days on. Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
