If you are looking to truly make a difference in an animal's life, please consider Puff. Puff is a sweet, quiet senior cat who simply loves to curl up and enjoy catching up on her sleep. She is a kind gentle soul and is ready to find her forever home. Puff would be happiest spending her retirement with someone who is just available to brush her, pet her and love her. Puff enjoys being surrounded by all the young whippersnappers and passes on her years of advice and guidance to others, but we feel its time for Puff to get the love and attention she deserves. Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
