Okay Star wars fans , we are proud to introduce you to our boy Anakin! He is a very handsome black and white border collie mix that is just under a year old and weighs around 39 pounds. One look in those big eyse of his and you will be in love.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
