German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. My name is Reecy, I am a sweet chunky butt who was scheduled for euthanasia before I was taken by the CARA intake committee. I am so thankful and am currently in a foster home with a volunteer! She thinks I am a huge snuggle bear and I quickly become attached to the first human I trust. I am so grateful to be alive! I deserve the world. My foster mom says I'm house broken and very smart. I'm crate trained and I know basic commands. I love to go on car rides. My foster mom is working on my weight because she says that 125 pounds is a little too big . I love to play fetch and I love playing with the kids here in my foster home. Please call and ask about me :)

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt! Other Pictures of Reecy (in foster) (click to see larger version):
