've heard the saying 'so ugly he's cute' but I was stunned to find out they were talking about ME! What's a little under-bite?

I am the most loving and affectionate creature on Earth. In addition to my cute face and friendly personality, I also work very hard at pup I can be. I love everybody around me; and when I offer my love, I offer every ounce of it with all four paws.

You see, I am a snuggle bug and I really want to be close to you. I love laying down right beside you and hope that you love me too.

People seem to like Bulldogs and I have a lot of Bulldog in me. And from my other parent, the Australian Shepherd, I got the pretty coat and the really soft fur. So you can say, I am a fluffy Bulldog with a giant heart! And since I am a gentle boy, I would do well with anybody that can find it in their heart to love me as I am.

I promise you, the only reason I show a tooth or two is, because I always smile at you!

I am heartworm positive, but will begin treatment soon. I'd really love a foster home to see me through it. I am UTD on my shots and preventatives, am very kennel trained and neutered. Do you have room in your heart for the most faithful friend you will ever find?

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
