Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Tank is about 7 weeks old and so very ready for a forever home. He hopes that someone will come for him soon and learn the misconceptions people have about chow chows. These babies have been socialized with cats, children, adults and dogs. Their mother was abandoned 4 weeks before they were born. They were born and managed to survive for 4 weeks under an abandoned trailer before they came to CARA. We have worked very hard to make these guys happy, healthy, and well adjusted and they are ready to go. I hope you'll let Tank into your heart as we have ours.

If you would like to adopt Tank, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
