Just look at how pretty I posed for the camera! I am so full of love and would be he happiest kitty in the world if you would take me home. I just had some beautiful babies, and I have proven to be an awesome mother to then, but it is time for them, and I, to find a forever home. :-):-) Sapphire and her kittens (Topaz, Garnet, Emerald, and their friend Ella) are special need kitties as they unfortunately contacted the FCV (Feline Calici Virus). They will need to go into homes with other FCV positive cats or into homes by themselves. To learn more about FCV visit The Winn Feline Foundation for more information. Don't worry it is not as scary as it sounds, it is just a form of an upper respiratory virus that needs to be watched :-)
If you would like to adopt Sapphire, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
