He was wearing a collar and there was another puppy outside with him that escaped into the woods. It's been about 2 weeks and no one has come forward to claim this beautiful baby.
Quest appears to be a purebred dobie (even our vet agrees). He is not docked nor cropped. He is a very happy, playful little guy and loves playing tug-o-war and chasing anything you're willing to throw for him. He is very curious about cats and loves playing with my children. He has so much personality and will make such a wonderful boy for his new family. What a darling boy this is. Quest needs to go to home where you are either familar with dobie's or are willing to learn more. He will need a strong human as dobermans can be a bit pushy if you let them. It is very important, as with any animal, that you have the time to socialize him with animals and people. Obedience training is highly recommended. Quest is current on everything for his age (vaccines and dewormed). If you are interested in adopting Quest please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
