Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

DOESN'T ANYONE WANT ME?I have been taken to homes three times. And three times I have been returned. So here I am again, back in my kennel. Though I love the people here, and they love me, I'd do anything to find my forever home.

There are specific reasons for Olive's return. She can easily jump a 4' fence and if unable to jump she tries to dig out. Her entire life has probably been spent trying to escape and she just doesn't know otherwise. When she does manage to escape she takes off running at full speed. She gets very excited around small children and can be rough with them.

Olive is such a sweet girl. Olive is a bit shy but loves everyone, people and dogs alike. She likes to be a velcro dog and follow you around. Even when she first meets you she will run up and look at you with those big brown eyes. You just can't resist loving her! She would love to have bed and couch priveledges, or at least a nice comfy doggie bed to sleep in.

She is utd on shots, tested hw negative, on hw preventative and spayed.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
