May Day! May Day! I need your help! I'm part of the same litter the dork dumped out and I need a new home. Fozzie said I must have come from the Milkboneman since I'm the only one with short, sleek fur and I look more like a Lab. I only weigh 5 pounds at 7 weeks and I'm the sweetest in the litter. I give puppy grunts when you pick me up, and I'm always the first in line to snuggle and kiss.

Mayflower is current on vaccines, dewormed, and will be spayed prior to adoption. She will be available for snuggling after 5/9/04.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
