Learn more about the Golden Retriever. Learn more about the Cocker Spaniel.

George is one of the greatest dogs ever. He was originally trained to pull a child's wheelchair and give company to her. He wanted to play outside and wasn't entirely content just laying around all day so the mother gave him away. George is a very content, laid-back guy that gets along with other dogs and people. He adores children. He pretty much ignores cats. All he wants is someone to love him. He has the happy-go-lucky personality of a golden retriever with a bit of cocker mixed in. A dog like George is more than could be asked for. He's past the puppy stage but still young enough to enjoy life. He isn't much of a barker, doesn't chew what he isn't supposed to and his only desire is to be with his people.

George is housetrained, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and neutered. George is 4 years old.

If you would like to adopt George, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at cara@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
