My name means "fantastic", which is what I am. I have the most angelic face and personality (pictures don't do me justice)! I would love to cuddle up with you, have some popcorn and pizza on a Friday night, and watch "Animal Planet". I love family time!

Problem is, I have no one to share my great qualities with. I've been living in a kennel for 4 months now. Please rescue me and give me the life I deserve to have.

Fantasia has been dewormed and vaccinated and is spayed. She is about 5 months old and very ready to find her special home.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
