Meet Jillian! Weighing in at 56 pounds, she's a big girl with even BIGGER dreams! She dreams of the day when she is no longer in a shelter, but in a warm and loving home with a new family! Jillian is a sweetheart. She'll paw at your arm when she wants just a little more attention from you and she'll give you kisses if you ask nicely. Jillian does well with other dogs and also plays well with children. She's crate trained and house trained. Some activities that she enjoys are taking long walks, car rides, playing ball, and chewing on all sorts of toys. Jillian even knows some commands like, sit, down, come, and wait. Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs,  & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at  http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption
