One would think that my famous Foster Brother would have cured my Foster Parents and Saviors from ever coming near a puppy again, but they have a Heart of Gold. And while Miles may be working on Stardom as the next Beethoven or a dognification of Dennis the Menace, I am such a good Boy. Can you believe that somebody gave me up and I ended up in Animal Control where so many beautiful and loving pups like me never leave? Yes, I understand that puppies can be a lot of work. But just like children we are lovable and sweet and grow up eventually into whatever you raised us to be. And as a bred and born Retriever, I do like to bring you everything I think you may have lost; but I am so smart that I learn really fast what you do and don't want me to bring to you. And dogs like me can do so many things. We are very loyal and will protect our family. We work as Rescue Dogs and visit sick people in hospitals. We have so many talents that you can find us in practically every career or sport out there. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
