German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Medium
Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. "Hiya There! My name is Champ and boy oh boy am I am great pup! I like other dogs (my best friend at CARA is a little beagle girl named Hope) and I am super loving and kinda spirited! I really enjoy running around the CARA yard and playing with all the toys I find. I am a happy boy and I am just happy to be here - life is good! That is my motto! I am 34 lbs and am a small/medium dog. I am also two years old, but sometimes I play like a puppy - but I know how to be calm and peaceful too. I do have a great singing voice and when I want to be with you and cannot I sing it out like Bette Midler! I want you to be the wind beneath my wings! I would love to meet you and give you lots of kisses and maybe you could give me a treat? That was be really fun! Maybe we could go for a walk too?" My trainers at CARA are shocked at what a good boy I am in the crate. I take my toys and place them in the crate as well. So if you need to go to work and leave me at home I will be a good boy and sit in my crate and enjoy my rawhide bone.

Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
