Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application.

Patty's birthday is 05/23/12. She weighs around 23 pounds. She is a little shy at first but once she warms up to you she will be your best friend for life. She really perks up around other dogs and it would beneficial if she had another dog to play with and make friends. Patty is currently in a foster and is completely out of her shell. Her foster mom said that she has not had any accidents in the house and appears to be house broken. Patty loves to cuddle in the bed with you (she isn't a bed or a blanket hog) . She will cuddle with you on the couch and watch TV. She even has shows that she likes to watch. She'll watch anything that has gators in them. Her favorite show of all time is The Gator Boys. Her foster family call her gator mouth all the time because of her under bit that makes her look like she has a gator mouth. She loves to follow you all around the house because she doesn't want you to be lonely without her. Patty knows sit and down and is a very fast learner. She is very smart and she will amaze you with how quick she catches onto new things.

Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
