I am a Lab dog, because my favorite thing is to lay on your lap and get my belly scratched. I am an oversized love-bug ready please at a moments notice. I don't mind the dogs here and I definitely don't mind any human belly scratcher who's attention I can attract. I haven't had much of a life yet and I really would love to do all those fun things with you like playing ball and going on long walks. And since I was ment to be a working dog, I can come up with the stamina to tire even the fittest child. Try me out! I am heartworm negative, have been started on preventatives and shots, seem house-broken and will be spayed. If you would like to adopt Sasha, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
