Maggie is a sweet girl, who is house trained and loves to spend time with her people. She would do best as an only pet as she feels very sad when her attention is taken away from her. She has had so much dissapointment in her life, she deserves happiness from now on.

Maggie does ok with kids, but she would prefer a home with an adult she can simply hang out with. She loves to cuddle on the couch and loves to lay in the sun. She is not a big fan of cats though.

Maggie came to CARA heartworm positive and she has already started her treatment and is in a foster home living it up in the lap of luxury - something she has never experienced before but is truly enjoying! She is doing great and will hopefully make a full recovery. If you would like to sponsor Maggie's treatment, CARA is needing to raise an additional $100.

Individuals who sponsor Maggie will be listed as Maggies Angels and can get updates on her progress. Visit our Holly Fund page to learn more about our special fund you can donate to that will help animals like Maggie.

Maggie is now up to date on her vaccinations and will be spayed prior to her adoption. If all goes well with her treatment she will be ready for adoption the beginning of May!

You can be any CARA pets special Sponsor and help to off set CARAs costs in their day to day care. If you want to donate to help Maggie you can click the button below!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
