Maybe it is because of my breed. Despite being so stressed out in my kennel here, when I am lucky enough to leave my kennel and spend time with the humans here, I make the MOST of it! I will graciously sit in their lap and get all the snuggles, or sit very pretty for a treat. I LOVE food, so I will be easy to train! I have very good home manners, the only thing I need to work on is greeting new people when they come to my home (mainly new adult men, they scare me). I am housebroken. I get along with older small dogs. I also get along with laidback cats. I would am apartment friendly. I need an owner willing to work with how I meet new people in a home. I am great in public. If you are looking for a laid back, homebody that is super duper grateful to be alive, please look no further!!!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
