Meet Ellie! She is our longest resident. She recently completed her heartworm treatment at Carolina Veterinary Hospital. She is looking for a very sweet home where she can cuddle up on the couch with you. She would prefer no small children because she loves to run and give hugs, she also would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She does not seem to care for cats. Ellie is super CUDDLY, AFFECTIONATE, INTELLIGENT, and just a fun gal! Please consider meeting this precious little turkey. :)

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
