Hi, my name is Dooney. I am your Mr. Nice Kitty from just around the Corner and the perfect fit for any loving Family in need of an awesome Companion. I come fully equipped with purring mode, play mode, snuggle mode, race mode, ball chasing mode and all the Love one little Furball like me can offer. And it will be all yours, if you want it!

I am FELV/FIV negative, UTD on Shots and Preventatives and will be neutered.

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions here ), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARA's adoption process and online application can be found at http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them.
