A little Angel flew down from Haven and is looking around for a new cloud to live on.

Only, that this little Angel has never known Heaven before, until she was found in a AC Shelter and brought home.

Now I am learning daily life in a home and the love of a human. I am so affectionate and when I get scared, I come to you for love and safety. I do get spooked sometimes, since a lot of things are still foreign to me. But I am so smart and learn so fast. I was crate trained in a day and learned to go on a leash in less than 30 min. I do still need to learn how to slow down a little, but there are so many things I haven't seen yet. And loving other dogs, I always want to go visit with them. I enjoy playing with them so much.

But I am really friendly with everybody. Just give me a moment to meet you and I will be happy for every bit of affection you have to offer. I love all children, but ask that you don't jump and run around me until I learn that that is OK. But when you sit really quiet, I will sit on your lap and ask you to love me. I also love the cats around me. They actually like to snuggle with me. I actually share my food with them.

Since I had a rough start in life and am still easily spooked, I ask that you have a big, fenced-in yard, a friend for me and a rather quiet home. And if you are patient with me, you can teach me that I have nothing to worry about. I already learned so much and I promise to have it down in no time.

I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots and preventatives and am spayed. I am also doing great on my crate training and house manners, if given the opportunity to go outside. I am more realiable than your alarm clock and will let you know when I have to go. And don't let anybody tell you otherwise: A hound's heart will be yours forever!

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
