Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.

There have been studies that say dark chocolate is good for your heart and mind. Hans is the dog version of dark chocolate, a 1.5 year-old chocolate lab mix sure to warm both your heart and mind. He is playful and true to his lab roots (ball, ball, ball) and is ready to be your faithful companion on outdoor adventures or to lend you paw to hold while curled up watching a movie. He loves children and wouldn't mind helping retrieve those nurf arrows that, let's be honest, end up everywhere!! Come to CARA ad meet this sweet chocolate dog. The only thing that will melt your heart.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
