to fill out an application. Meet Grader! Grader was found at a big plant where they make all sorts of cool tractors! He was really scared when he first came to CARA. He was homeless, then sent to Animal Control, then brought to the CARA shelter. By the time he came to his foster home he was so frightened all he did was hide.
Even though he was so scared, it only took a kind touch from his foster mom to get him purring! Within a day or two Grader was sleeping on the bed next to his foster mom :-) Grader loves other cats and dogs, and is really good with kids. He still gets a little scared with big noises, but always comes running for a jingle ball or a treat :-) If you are looking for a loving kitty who is truly a rescued kitty, you should meet Grader :-) He is a great kitty with so much to offer!

If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life.
