Have You Lost An Animal?

- Contact local animal control agencies and animal rescue groups immediately.

- North Carolina law only requires agencies to keep stray or surrendered animals 72 hours before they can be euthanised.

- Keep checking back! -

-An enormous number of animals come through these shelters everyday, it is impossible for personnel to remember them all.

- Visit the shelters in person. One phone call is not enough!

- Search the facilities outside your county; sometimes well-intentioned people pick up strays and take them to shelters in other counties.
