My name is Waffles. I was rescued recently and boy am I glad to be safe. The rescue was alerted about two dogs that looks very malnourished, and had horrible skin conditions. That is when they met me and Nutella my buddy that I was on the run with. We were both living in a pile of lumber and were not easy to catch, but eventually we knew we needed help. I am shy so the rescue is trying hard to get me to open up and so far I am! I do need a patient home. I am sweet and quiet. I am not going to get too big, I may have been the runt of the litter. I think I am a flat coated retriever. I do well with dogs and cats.I can't wait to meet you!! xoxo

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred  that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
